RYLA, Rotary Youth Leadership Award recipients were treated to a weekend of youth leadership training at Drew University on June 21 - 23, 2019.
Students participated in a variety of leadership development activities, had several guest lectures, sports, games, activities and more. Each student learned more about themselves and how to implement leadership skills that were presented over the weekend. It is also a great opportunity for the students to experience life on a college campus. This was the 29th year the program.
Students who participated described RYLA as amazing. Here is a comment from a previous participant "I can't believe the friends I made in one weekend how one weekend will impact my life forever".
The program will continue in 2020 with the help of a grant from Rotary International Foundation.
